ALX Rods ZOLO Rumble Bass Fishing Rod Overview

    Full Transcript:

Hey guys, it's Alex with the ALX rods, and I want to introduce the ZOLO Rumble. All right. So the number one question that always comes up anytime I do a live, anytime I do a video, anytime we do anything is... "What's the best bladed jig rod?" Every single time! We can actually take bets at the shop as to how fast that question will get asked. We actually sent the initial prototypes out with this, with our pro staffers at the 2019 Bassmaster Classic. So that was in March of 2019. So we're almost two years later introducing this rod finally. What we ended up coming up with is it's a seven feet, one inches long, and it is a carbon fiber and glass hybrid. So about the top, I would say, 35% of the rod is really all fiberglass and the whole rest of the rod is carbon fiber. So what that does is that it gives you a really nice, soft, buttery, smooth tip. And you can just see that tip, given with the bait, when you throw it out, as soon as that blade engages on that bladed jig, you start reeling that, and that tip just starts giving and wiggling and letting that bait work and not holding it back at all. And then you can just feel every single vibration in the butt of this rod from that carbon fiber. But where it really plays in is when the fish hammers it, they pull it, the tip just loads up really nice so you can't rip it away from the fish, but the back end is nothing but straight, heavy jig power. So it is there to set that big old, heavy hook that bladed jigs have. And there is no doubt that you're going to be able to send that hook home, and you're going to be able to land that fish, because the tip gives, it lets the fish take the hook in its mouth. You rear back on it. It's got the carbon fiber in the back end for the plenty of power and it's on. And that fish is going to come in the boat. You're not going to have a problem landing that fish whatsoever. We've also been fishing this rod, in addition to fishing it with bladed jigs, we've also been fishing it was spinnerbaits and buzz baits already. Like I said, we introduced this rod or we didn't introduce it, we sent out the first prototypes of it in 2019, in March of 2019. So we've spent a lot of time fishing this rod and getting it right. So super excited about it. We already had the first run. We really quietly put it out there just to kind of get some reviews from general customers. The reviews were overwhelming, just it's well balanced. It weighs five ounces, but because of the balance on it, it does not feel like it weighs five ounces. It doesn't wear you out. You feel every vibration. When a fish swipes at the bait, you're going to feel the bait die and lose that shake. So it's just an absolutely incredible rod and we couldn't be more excited about it. So it'll handle any of your different sizes. So it's a one size fits all. And again, like I said, you can switch it over, throw your spinnerbaits on it, throw your buzz baits on it. I think you're going to really, really enjoy the ZOLO Rumble. And we will have more of these in stock super soon, and may already have them in stock by now. And go out there, take a look at it, check it out. If you have any questions, let me know. I'll be happy to help you out. That's why we're here is to get you the right rod, build the right rods for you guys, and then make sure that you get the right rods. So in any case, let me know if you have any questions. See you soon.
